This is by far one of the best threads I have ever read on this site.

You deserve an award for this!!!! If they did best post of the year, you might be in the running already just 12 days into this one! I cant stop laughing. I have nothing helpful to add, just happy you made this post!

You could always make your SUV a dual purpose vehicle!! Car for transit during the week hunting blind on the weekend!! Seriously that's a bummer though hope you get the smell out.

That will teach you to be doing other crap when you should be driving. :)

Kidding, hopefully you find a solution. If you don't want to fork out for an Ozonics I have seen some DIY models online.

First of all... hahahaha. I'm laughing with ya, really I am. That sucks.

My son once left a half bottle of chocolate milk in my truck. It rolled under the center console and with the help of the summer heat, it exploded all over the interior. We all know that spoiled, rotting milk stinks to the heavens and back. After a bit of research, I discovered a product called Kids N' Pets. They sell it in the cleaning section at Wal Mart. The trick is, you need something that is Enzyme activated to kill the bacteria that organic stuff like milk and pee produce. I bought 3 bottles of the stuff and proceeded to soak everything down and scrub it in good. Left windows open to circulate air and two days later, no smell.

Hmmm......I just assumed all Xterras smelled that way.

Seriously, best of luck in getting rid of (a) the smell or (b) the truck.

Here is what we use when the dogs get hit by a skunk. PURE VANILLA.... We have tried everything imaginable and this seems to get the oils and get to the source of the stink fast. Try this in your carpet and see if that helps.

BTW: Thanks for the great laugh.....
