Never, ever, ever let the thing take a picture of you Tony. Covert's are amazing but even they probably wouldn't do good things with that haha! :) Just joking bud, you'll love the thing!

Tony I would get 2 SD cards so you can change it out in the field and look at pics when you get home. I would also use regular Rayovac batteries they seem to work the best in that camera. Set the sensitivity on low and I always format my SD cards when I change them. I like the 3 shot burst at 30 seconds also so I use a 4 or 8 GB SD card to handle the extra pics. Good luck and have fun with it. Oh yeah make sure you dont leave it on set up it will really **** you off.

bet you get hooked on a new hobby...the mp6 or perhaps the black60 were the choices for my next (if purchased) commercial cam but I am addicted to homebrews for the pics...I do like my covert edge alot and the ca3.0 is a public land scouting machine that has been through a couple bear bouts.

Tom nailed it Tony! I had so much fun with my 1st covert this past spring, I bought 3 more, I now own 1 Red 40 and 3 Black 60's. I really like the B60's they just disappear in the woods!!!!!!!!! :tu:

Oh yeah, get a python cable for it, they rock! I don't even use the straps, just the cable to attach it to the tree!

Awesome PT!! Its gonna be so cool messing around with that cam. I'm looking at getting this same camera as my first cam in a few months. Just no room in the budget for me at the moment. But I will have one soon! Oh yes indeed I will! Haha

Tony they come with a strap to attach it to a tree, Joe likes to use a Python cable to make sure no one steals it.

No they don't come with an SD card. Get 2 of them like Tom said. As far as brand name SD cards I'd get the SanDisk Ultra. I've had my share of troubles with cards over the years. Get as big of a GB card as your camera can handle.

My coverts run fine with SanDisk, PNY and the generic Walgreens brand cards. Now my Primos...those little boogers are picky!

Since you asked, you might as well buy everything (batteries, sd cards, etc.) in duplicate, triplicate, or more. This won't be your last camera I'm afraid!! :D
