I marked up a map with buck beds based on a particular wind. For an afternoon sit with the thermals dropping, where would you set up to cut off a buck based on each wind? How do you see each buck moving based on the the prevailing wind and the dropping thermals?
Thanks Josh, that type of information is invaluable to me. I save all this stuff and study it. I am still having some difficulty putting it all together. So Josh, with the wind to his back/side, he travels to the food source via a thermal hub, so he can catch as much of the scent to his front as he can before he proceeds to his destination?
Thank you, I really do appreciate the help. The map above is a place I want to scout after the season. It looks to be a really good spot. I was just using it as an example because there is so much topographical changes and it looks pretty unique. I might slip in and hunt it blind in mid-October or something just to get a look at it.
