I think they're really expensive. I hardly use decoys anymore. I've had alot of call shy turkeys hang up out of range because they could see my decoys

They look very nice, but in my area turkeys shy away from decoys no matter how real they look. Mine even move and it doesn't matter. I usually get my turkey every year by using very limited calling, scouting and in turn ambushing.

I just ordered the upright hen!I use decoys depending on the areas pressure usually. but I have friends with lots of video footage of toms mounting and beating up these decoys for long periods of time because the tom's are sure the decoys are real. That's what sold me on them. The hen cost me $135 with shipping.

Good luck on the decoys and let me know how they work...I see alot of videos to, but would rather see it first hand especially in my area. We only get 5 days to hunt in the spring so you really have to know your turkeys. Videos don't sell me on anything.

I was about to pull the trigger, but held off because they are not very quiet from what I was told on another forum. I have a b mobile and many many hen decoys compiled over the years. I really do like the dsd's though.

They really are a great looking decoy and they do make a little noise, but as long as you are careful when setting them up, everything is fine. Not enough noise to scare anything away.
wish I would have seen this thread a little earlier as I could have gotten you a good deal on one through my brother-in-law who is about to become a dealer for DSD.

The detail is absolutely incredible...too cool.

No doubt (IMO) that they will and do work.

But I don't use decoys that often, and I run and gun a lot - so carrying around something that is that expensive is not intriguing.

But, I do have an old mounted hen that I use every so often.
