Any one else? I have a few stands yet to put out, but I have more than enough to get me going. How about you? To get things going right our youth season starts the 17th and 2 of my kids are going. That should give me a "fix" for the time being while I wait. I got out the blinds this weekend and sighted in their gun. We are about set to go.
I had hoped to be taking my 10 year old daughter out for youth season this year, but we just haven't had enough time to practice shooting. I don't want to take her if we aren't comfortable and ready. I took her turkey hunting this spring and it was great. She missed a bird on opening morning. She did everything right, but I think nerves got her at the last second. She is already talking about next spring, and I want to make sure her first experience deer hunting is just as fun and exciting. As for me, I hope to be out there asap.
