What should be a happy return home with a big doe in the cooler now has a cloud over it. I made the 2 1/2 hour drive home, got unloaded and notice that my brand new Streamlight was missing from my pack strap. It must have fallen off at some point. It could be anywhere. There goes a lot of money.
Just looked them up because I never heard of them. That's a tough loss my friend!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What was it exactly? At least it was nothing irreplaceable. Maybe you'll find it the next time back there. If it was very expensive it should take exposure ok.
Yeah, I know. It was pretty pricey at $150 so if I can find it I'm sure it will be okay, but it's not the monetary loss or the loss of just stuff. This was a gift from the Ambulatory Care Unit nurse managers at St. Jude and if I can't find it I will most likely replace it. Here's hoping I can find it next time I'm up there.
Ah, didn't know it was a gift, that does suck. Which model of Streamlight was it? $150 is a chunk for a light, I was thinking $40-$50.
That sucks. Stream lights are awesome. I'm always torn between using sentimental stuff like that or leaving it in a safe place. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I guess I should have mentioned that in the beginning. I'll have to find the box as I can't remember the exact model. They make some really good stuff.
I dropped a Cabelas Alaskan headlamp last duck season in early October. I realized it a few days later while I was getting my stuff together for a deer hunt. After over a week I retraced my steps and found the light mostly subermerged in the creek water. This was only a $50 light so I'd imagine your streamlite would be ok.
