I had that big 10 point at 25yards tonight. Just one problem, there was a branch between us and no way to shoot thru it. I heard him chasing does and grunting up a storm in the ravine behind my stand. One by one the does came thru headed to my food plots. Then I saw his rack coming so I ranged the trail the does had taken at 25 yards. When he entered the shooting lane I grunted at him. He took 2 more steps and stopped with the limb between us. I finally let down as he walked into the food plot and worked a scrape. I grunted at him a few times and then one of the does blew and they all took off.

That's the third time I have drawn on that deer, and have yet to release an arrow. The other times it was too dark. I guess he has 6 lives left if he was a cat.

He will slip up one of these times. At least he's still in the area. Heree is a pic of the big guy.

I have no doubt that he'll make a mistake here pretty shortly. He's entering the most vulnerable time of the year...

    I got faith in ya.

Dang John, drawn 3x on the same buck.. Either his days are numbered or he's got 9 lives. Hope you get him!

Yeah, maybe I;m being too picky. But I just never had a good clean shot. First it was too dark and now the limb in the way. If he hadn't taken those 2 extra steps I should be posting his picture here with me holding those antlers.

I just don't want to wound him and never see him again. He is starting to get stupid tho. This was at 4:50. Pretty early for him to be out chasing does.

I'm sure you'll knock him down soon. You know, when his "you know what" starts becoming how he thinks.
Are you seeing this guy in MO or IL?

Atta baby John. It won't be long now, like you said.

Looks like me matches up pretty well. Looks like a solid 140ish, MAYBE 150?
