I had one 2011 M80x left. Had it on the same tree basically since new. Ya the sensing wasnt the greatest but it did the job over my 1/4 acre food plot. It could throw light across the whole thing basically. I had a lock box I made for it too, but it was in the barn... They would have pried it off the tree anyways.... Someone drove around the field, seen it and took it. I am not far off a main road and you can see the plot from the road if you know what you are looking at.. Also got the barn broken into, but nothing missing. Cops know and might have someone to question. I will keep you updated if anyone gets caught.... I doubt it. My dad told the cops the camera had "dad" written above the screen. As that way I knew what camera was his and what was mine when I used to have one too. Never thought I would be making one of these posts!
Its a fuzzing shame that we cant even put out trail cams or anything of value to do pre-season scouting for our game animals... Sorry to hear about this... Hope that the cops find out who took it
Not too many people I hate more than thieves. I would consider stealing a trail cam like stealing a working mans tools. Low down for sure.
Been there. Taking a working man's hard earned toy for their own. I had one stolen a few years back within 400 yards of my house down the creek. I hate the feeling of walking up to the tree and getting that knot in your throat because you're so disgusted that it's gone. Hopefully they find the person.
That reals sucks man, the closest I can relate is a having a spypoint ripped off a tree by a bear. I got mine back with a few teeth marks but it still works. Hopefully the police can return it to u safe and sound.
A good buddy of mine just had a memory card stolen from his camera. They left the camera. People are idiots these days.
Sorry to hear that I've had one stolen already and I know the feelin. somehow it makes it worse that it was more than likely stolen by another hunter and I just can't understand that. I hope you manage to get it back or at least find out who stole it.
I had 3 stands stolen and 2 M80s stolen....Friend across the river the night of Wisconsin gun opener 2012 had 8 stand stolen with 6 reconex cams!!!!!! the never found the people that took his stuff.. never found r either.... They r pros he did have pics of people in camo but with no bow on cam but no pics of face.... They scouted his property and cleaned it out...
