    Hello all,
I am a bow hunting enthusiast from Michigan I haven’t got anything with a bow yet. I am currently working on my first food plot it is really small and pretty shady I’m wondering what too plant in it I am thinking about planting clover in it.

Welcome to the site. What ever you do you will need sun to hit the plot. Test your soil and if it's good then you can plant whatever you want. Clover is a great plan. Turnips are great late season. Lots of options. But first thing first. Do your HW and bring us your soil PH and amount of sun duration

If you really can't do anything about shade, go with Duran clover as one option and winter rye in fall. Dutch white is low growing and handles shade and higher pH as well. Lime can take some time to work. Sweet Italian annual rye as well. This you don't want to reseed if you plan on having mainly clover.
