    anyone here ever been hypnotized?
unfortunately I took up smoking in my late teens and have struggled with quitting on and off ever since..
I hate smoking, I quit every October and by late November I end up right back at it. I'm just weak and cant quit on my own. I recently had a friend who got hypnotized and hasn't had a smoke since. I'm thinking about giving it a try. I'm a bit nervous about having someone poke around in my head.. would love to hear some thoughts or experience

    Nope quit on my own.
My father in law (30+ year smoker) had been trying to quit for awhile (patches, the pill or whatever)
He tried laser therapy and that was the last day he smoked

Don't know if its a placebo effect kind of thing or actually works. Cant hurt to try though

I used a vaporizer to quit. If you quit for two months every year you could do it that way. Buy a good one. If your serious about quitting you can work your way down in nicotine and after the zero nicotine leap eventually I found myself not bringing it places and I just put it away. Took about a year after starting. My wife even still smokes. Smoke out of a vape for two months and a cigarette will taste like licking a ash tray
