I hope this post does not break any rules, but I am desperate to help with unemployment when I have 2 high paying jobs that I cannot fill. We are a small HVAC company (employees) We have been in business 35 yrs. We came to Centerville, Iowa 18 years ago because I finally realized that to consistently kill BIG BUCKS you HAVE TO LIVE where BIG BUCKS LIVE! And the more the better! For me they have to be thick as rats! And compared to anywhere else I have had farms or hunted, they are! I see both P&Y and B&C bucks out my bedroom window. I have access to 1000's of acres of PRIME Trophy deer land and have lots of time to hunt. NO MORE LONG DISTANT WEEKEND RUNS TO HUNTING SPOT AND RUNS HOME TO GET TO WORK ON MONDAY! Our gun season does not start till a week into Dec so we hunt the WHOLE RUT undisturbed and a NATURAL RUT! YOU CAN TOO! IF you are a HIGHLY SKILLED HVAC TECH/INSTALLER! You would have to pass the State of Iowa Journeyman's License test, very difficult, or POSSIBLY the APPRENTICE and pass all other requirements of the company, undergo a battery of verbal tests to see if it would work out and would have to have a family that is also willing to move to a small city(6000 pop) or live in the country. Housing is cheap. We have the 2nd largest lake in Iowa, Lake Rathbun, one of the best CRAPPIE and WALLEYE in the country! 15 MINUTES AWAY! This county APPANOOSE COUNTY IA has the nicest and easiest going people I have ever met. NO CRIME! NICE KIDS! Lots of Amish. GREAT NEIGHBORS. IT IS A BOW HUNTERS PARADISE! If you have the skills I need! EXCELLENT SALARY and BENEFITS (especially for this area!) IS ANYONE INTERESTED?

Easy boys, he's not breaking any rules. He only put it in the wrong section of the forum.

As a matter of fact, this may be a hell of an opportunity for someone qualified that wants to locate where there are big bucks.

Not for nothing is a hell of a way to think outside the box. You offer employment with an added recreational benefit that maybe an attraction to someone with a skill set that you need. Hope it pans out for you and you hire someone suitable that can enjoy the area and the job.

Centerville area is beautiful as far as hunting goes. It's only 40 minutes from here. As long as you don't demand a high social life, it's great.

20 feet up in a tree with your buddy could be considered a pretty high social life.

My interest is PEAKED.. and Yes.. I am an HVAC dude.

The problem being.. my wife would never go for it.

Unless.. you could find her a teaching position and a home so her parents could move out there too.

    Huh?

Keep driving and hunting in your stinky clothes every weekend you get to go! You can always TALK about trouphy hunting at the bar or archery range. We hunt evenings when slow or all day. Want a night life, go coon hunting. I would not beg anyone to come here, that is for sure! But if you want a peacefull life with less stress and want to kill BIG BUCKS it is a no brainer. For the right family, not the knuckleheads! buck 005.jpg

    Thank You

I wish someone had offered me this when I was younger, took me a while to grow up and understand what living really was, not sitting in traffic, locking my house and car or worring about junkies.

    Maybe

The postal routes are awarded by bid. You would see TONS of bucks (and all wildlife)as mail carrier! They do the "road counts" on all game!
