Apples to oranges comparison here. We're talking about the slight risk of cutting yourself or maybe breaking a finger versus many broken bones, paralysis or even death. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone dying b/c they let go of their release on accident. You can trip over your shoelaces if they're untied and break your face on the pavement. Perhaps we should mandate all shoes use velcro from now on?
Ive had a D loop fail once at 3/4 draw. Good thing is that you and your buddy walked away with no major injuries.
Well I guess we better stop using d loops while we're at it. Going back to clipping onto the string will be much safer. While I'm at it, I ordered one of these. Just in case.
if Woody would have gone right to the police, this would never have happened!! I guess I'm showing my age.
Good thing you're alright. This is just making you a stronger and better bowhunter. We learn from our experiences.
