Not much on this in the media since it's not affecting us directly, but wow. Could end up being the largest hurricane on record in the Western Hemisphere. 200mph sustained winds. http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/tropical-threat-heightens-risk/53016886
Depending on which way it goes, it could bring a lot of rain to the southern US. Over here in AL, they are saying we could get up to 3" of rain. We need the rain bad. Some of our food plots look horrible. The south is in a major drought right now. I think the news was saying that in some parts of MS, they have gone 100+ days without significant rainfall.
Before this weekend, it has not rained here in north LA since early June. This year has been crazy. We had 500 year level flooding in the spring, then severe drought, and now it hasn't stopped raining since Thursday and flooding again.
After a long week, I planned to just lay on the couch, down a few cold ones and watch mexico get obliterated... i was disappointed to say the least. (good for mexico though)
