    im new to maryland do you have to have a hunter safety course to bow hunt in maryland?

    I believe that if you have passed a recognized course in another state and have the required certificate then that can be used. But yes, you need to pass a hunter education course to obtain a hunting license unless you are hunting on your own property, then you do not require a hunting license.
