Haha ill concede to that, when it comes to talking about hunting few things can provide a better laugh than a good ole boy from TN talking strategy of where he placed his feeder and why.

When hosts on shows talk about management like they have the slightest clue what they are talking about. There is more to wildlife management than food plots.

"Let him walk" drives me through the f'n roof.

Used in context: "Yeah, I saw a little buck . . . probably 100-115, he wasn't worth using my tag, so I let him walk."

In reality, the deer would've scored 76", and was 197 yards away, running through a thicket, with zero shot opportunity. And usually, this b.s. is coming from a guy who, on his best day, walks into the woods with a 40% shot/kill percentage.

Honest to god, when I hear somebody say "let him walk," I instinctively just want to just pounce on them like a wild wombat.

So many options! I hate when people call brow tines "eye guards". In what way do they guard the eyes? The boiler room is another phrase I hate.

Perhaps the biggest thing I hate, mostly pertaining to hunting shows, is the err to have a purposeful southern/hillbilly accent. I hate the way some of these guys talk and act ( cough.. Primos). You have a nation wide television show/video, act educated and professional.

Harvested. Dont know why that annoys me. People harvest crops. People KILL deer. Just seems like people sugarcoat it because kill sounds bad or something.

Still Hunting. how can you be "still hunting" if you are moving around? and if you are being still then why not just call it ground hunting so it covers both?

Yes, and it's a doe!!! Not a due!!!

Guy from Iowa was hunting down here last fall and told me he shot a due. I said, you shot a what?!?! Then he started telling me the story and how he had several due's coming down the trail...

I truly had no idea what the guy was talking about at first, then I realized was trying to say doe.

I came in one night and told my wife I just shot a pig. My daughter, who was about 6 at the time, looked at me and said "Daddy, I thought you went deer hunting" I laughed so hard my guts hurt!
