Hunting the thick stuff

    Any ideas on how to hunt the real thick stuff from a stand? If not what would you do/ the big bucks are in the thick brush I spook them getting to my stand in the morning. its hard to tell which way they are going trails coming and leaving thick stuff in every direction:cry:

    I have some spots near the edges of the thick stuff that usually gives me two good trails to focus on. Big key is making sure you can get close nice and quiet and sneak in on em. Thats where the bruisers hang and use to get around. You gotta setup right on them to make it happen. Or find a good entrance or exit from those thick areas.

    Before the season,cut a good walking trail to your stand.Also,cut 3 or 4 shooting lanes.That takes work but it is necessary to hunt the thick stuff.
