I got spooked a big buck yesterday putting up a camera, followed some big fresh tracks down to a ditch that was overgrown and thick. I put my camera on a down hill slope, but as I was putting the camera up, the wind shifted and a nice mature buck, got up out of its bed and made his way across the road. Darn Wind Change!
