Yeah it's a nice change of pace. I can even pick up free wi-fi from the neighbor! ;-) Heard there was a 170"+ shot down there @ the end of the season. Trying to find pics even as we speak.

I've lost so many spots because neighbors saw me and gave the homeowner crap for letting me hunt. Because of that, now I don't wear camo, and I don't carry my bow or stand in or out of the woods unless it's dark. I am as quiet and discreet as humanly possible, and I come and go in a nice car, not a pickup with blood in the bed and hunting stickers all over it.
Never forget a Christmas card and a nice bottle of hooch for the homeowner who was nice enough to let you hunt.

One of my biggest things is to really watch what happens after the shot. Read the deer's reaction. Give it a lot of time (unless you watch it fall) and then take your time. You don't want to push them into the houses so make sure they are down.

Couple of years ago, I hit a buck on Halloween morning and he ran down and stood beside a road. Car pulls up, back window goes down and 2 cute little faces are staring at my buck. Luckily, he got nervous and bolted back into the woods before he fell.
