    Heartland Bowhunter, it's top notch!

The only other show I watch is Bowhunt or die.

... of course I don't have TV service, so I can only watch them online.

Don't watch a whole lot of hunting, no TV here. I do like going over to a buddies and watching The Professionals though.

Lately I have been watching some videos from a group of guys called Born and Raised Outdoors. All Roosevelt Elk in Oregon. Probably some of the best elk hunting videos I have ever seen.

I used to watched hunting shows all the time. When I was just out of high school and Michael Waddell first had Roadtrips and Lee and Tiffany were first getting big I watched their shows as often as I could. Now, though, I really only watch them periodically and I try to avoid most of the mainstream shows. I enjoy D&DH as it can be so informative and I'll watch Heartland Bowhunter as it seems the guys are genuine and the photography/cinematography is awesome!

Honestly, the market has become so saturated and guys are having to act so ridiculous to have a popular show, I just can't stomach watching much of what goes on. Hearing guys with self proclaimed names like Pig-Man shoot deer and say things like "Just laid the smack down on a sugar daddy pimp freak!" just doesn't appeal to me.

Major League Bowhunters is cool, Heartland Bowhunter, I like Shockey's hunts, etc. I'll watch any of them but some are horrible.

I watch a ton of them but must admit I watch them all for different reasons. Some are very educational and really do a nice job of explaining the whats, whys and where's that they are hunting. Others are just very entertaining. And ofcourse I love seeing big bucks and does hitting the ground!

I only have a couple shows I watch anymore.

Whitetail Freaks - simply b/c I enjoy watching big deer get shot and these guys are some of the best out there IMO. Great story telling and great bucks.

Bowhunter TV - they are the real deal. Not overproduced and no outrageous antics. Good, real-life hunting adventures and some great tech tips. One of my favorites.

Heartland Bowhunter - Mike & Shawn are great guys and do a fantastic job with their show. It's a breath of fresh air for outdoor TV.

The Professionals - Shockey and his crew are hardcore dudes that go on some ridiculous hunts. I can't relate to anything they're doing, but it sure is entertaining to watch!

I'll DVR some other shows and FFW through 90% of them until I see something I want to watch, but not much catches my eye these days. Seems like there's only three recipes for a show these days - either a ripoff of Lee & Tiff (get a hot chick on the show), a ripoff of HB (lots of "artsy" hunting shows popping up) or a ripoff of Waddell (over the top personality/entertainment to the point of being annoying).

You guys have given me some new great webisodes to check out, thanks a lot!! Like some other members I don't have cable also, so I'm always looking for hunting content to watch online. I have a few DVD's, one by Cameron Haynes in particular that I enjoy watching. He films his black tail hunts here in Oregon for the last 4-5 years. Some great stuff on there, plus it takes place just 45 miles from where I live which is extra cool.

I enjoy watching hunting of all sorts, but sometimes can get a little detached watching all whitetail hunts from back east and such. Not being able to relate to it at all, so if you guys know of some west coast shows let me hear them.

I won't go out of my way to watch them. My hunting channel isn't that, don't get the real big names.
I do like to watch Gold Tip's Life on the Road, and a few more. There was one show that was pretty good except I realized they kept using terms like "didn't put a good shot on him", "little far back"...etc, after a while I was rather shocked how these people could have such a show, every time they let an arrow fly it was a very poorly placed shot. Sure I get that not all are going to be right on the money, but at least get one good one in there... rant over, sorry, have been saving that one up.

I think Jim Shockey is the man, I'll what ANY hunting show he's on.
I've actually never seen The Crush, Driven, Whitetail Freaks or Bonecollector shows, Like I said, I don't get the good hunting station. However, that is about to change as we're going to change providers.

I used to watch them whenever I could. But they've changed. There are so many that think they have to be a commedian. Some actually spoke English when they started doing shows. Now they try to see who can sound the most uneducated and redneck. I hate the way they've gone with the guy telling you what happens as you're watching it. They do that for 5 minutes and cut to 8 or so commercials just before the shot. Then when they come back..... they show you the last 5 minutes again and the guy tells you all about it. And how about this jerk that has to put on his headphones and sit in his radio set to walk you through the hunt.... again, twice of course. I'm tired of the "That's what I'm talkin' bout". "Don't get no better. Yikes.... give me a break. And the disfunctional families on TV that won't go hunting without 150 pounds of Acorn Rage or something to shake on the ground. There are shows that call themselves hunting shows that I call redneck commedy wannabee hour. Now the latest fad is to super empose the cropped video on top of a full screen of the same video in the back ground out of focus. So what you have is a smaller picture with all this out of focus clutter around the actual viewing video that's distracting as all hell. A couple great shows but most just turn me off and I don't consider most of them hunters. They rotate weekly from petting zoo to petting zoo and all follow the same circuit.
