Used to grow it out for rifle season. Then the entirety of bow season. Now I've been bearded for 6 or 7 years. Last time I shaved, I hated it. Don't think I'm going back.
I use to grow a beard during hunting season but haven't for awhile. All the grey in it made me look and feel like an old man.
I started growing a beard in October for the 1981 deer season (the fall after I graduated high school) - - - - - - still have it.
I quit shaving beginning of October, anybody else hate it when you shoot your bow and it pulls a whisker when you release?
I used to grow mine out for duck season but it's patchy in the awkward in between stage. It finally fills in ok but growing facial hair is not my strongest trait. Now I have to be able to wear a respirator for work in case of chemical emergencies so it's a no go until I switch buildings Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Usually grow it from sept to march for hunting and ice fishing but for some reason I cut it end if September so I will just keep it clean this year
I've had facial hair of some kind for over a decade now. Right now I have a beard and it's so much easier than shaving all the time. I look like a baby without it so I have no plans to get rid of it.
Letting mine grow until a deer is on the ground. My boss keeps giving funny looks like I am a homeless person.
I almost never shave, but I couldn't grow a beard if I tried. I trim about every 4 days or so. I like going for the I don't give a sh!t look.
As others have mentioned I can’t grow a beard to save my life. It grows in all “white trashy” like Joe Dirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
