I've got a man made trail in my woods that I have noticed 4 scrapes along 70 yards.

When are the best hours to hunt these? Will deer check them right after they wake in evenings? Or better suited for early morning hunts?

According to QDMA, 85% of scrape activity takes place at night.

nobody can answer this question, too many variables. There is no exact equation that says "If you find a scrape line X yards long oriented in a NE/SW direction sitting on the north slope of a ridge then 9pm is the exact time"

Deer check them when they're on their way to or from something. One of those items is normally a feeding area and the other is normally a bedding area. The proximity to either would directly affect timing. As noted, the only way to know is with a trail cam on that exact trail.

Like some others have said check them with a cam.

Other than that, this time of year when the scrapes really start picking up I have had great luck in the evenings with scrapes near food sources and I always hunt them after any substantial rain. Just my experiences but bucks like to freshen them up after heavy rains. Good luck.
