Hunting rig? or bowfishing rig?

    I have never really bowfished before, but do find it fascinating. If I want to give it a try, can I just use my hunting bow? I shoot a BowTech Assassin set at about 62 lbs.

    i think the arrows you use are rated at 50 lbs. I would go buy a cheap old bow. that way if you drop it you dont cry lol. AMS makes a great bow just for bowfishing and a make a greart reel. i love it. and remember aim low.

    Thanks dtimm77,

    That sounds like a good idea...I really don't want to take my rest and stuff off, and my bow has 60-70 lb limbs.
