    Conditioned yes, and captive deer do behave like what you described to a point...however the animals we chase when hunting (unless conditioned otherwise over LONG time spans) are driven by suvival and procreation instincts nearly 100% of the time. Yearlings and young ones are different ball game their still learning through stupidity.

    Oh and believe me I am not saying they're oober intelligent in the sense they can't be deceived or tricked, they are after all reactive animals incapable of analyzing things and formulating a plan (I just did a write up which will be live about this probably within the week).
