I have hunted creek crossings, etc for a few years and I tend to see quite a few deer. Even better when it funnels them to and from their haunts

I shot my first buck while hunting from the ground on a bluff overlooking a creek. I was set up where two trails intersect and cross the creek. Deer love water, I definitely recommend hunting near any water.

Big bucks will walk down big creeks to get to fields, water, or doe bedding areas. Many of our giants were taken out of creeks as they were walking down it. They like walking down creeks because they feel hidden, and can get into and out of fields safely away from human eyes

Creek crossing are great spot, many deer find a spot they like to cross and they use it for the most part. Deer love a good river bottom. Good luck

Anytime you have a water source consider that a good thing. I have 2 different cricks that flow through my land and the deer really like It. Specially In the winter months when water Is tougher to come by.

Some states game laws prohibit shooting deer in a waterway like here in my state of Mo.
so you might want to check that out.
