Booked My Flight Today ...how about you all???

Hey guys, got my flight booked today for my late season archery whitetail hunt in ND with Tim. Cant wait. Dec 26th - Jan 3rd (my christmas break from teaching)

Gonna run across the border here and hunt Eastern Washington this year too for the first time and I just confirmed a late season 3 day weekend Doe hunt in Montana in January after my ND trip...

I am stoked to say the least with... 2 buck tags in Idaho, 1 in ND, 1 in E Wash and possibly three does total... 1 from ND and 2 from Montana (waiting to check on the ND extra doe tag)I finally will get a chance to be a nanny whacker!

So, Where is everyone else headed Out of state? This year.. lets hear them all! and good luck to everyone.

Good luck Troy and I am curious to see how you do in ND. This state is one of the best kept secrets IMO.
I will be staying in my wonderful state of Wisconsin.

Mo and IL, no big trips this year. Maybe next year I'll travel to hunt something else besides whitetails. But I don't need to travel to have some of the best whitetail hunting available.

Just WV for me! Didn't get to hunt my property last year so I figure I need to make up for it this year. And still trying to decide if I should get a WI tag for this season!

The later then usual harvest has scraped my elk trip out to Troy's so just hunting ND. Planning on a shed hunt with Troy this spring to make up for the elk trip. The bucks are really looking nice here so life isn't all bad. Troy's coming out to hunt after Christmas for a late bow hunt. Trying to get TeeJay and Dan to come here for some bow hunting also if it works out for them. Hopefully will get some decent pictures of good bucks this week while scouting to entice them.

Troy... we saw the 4x5 again this weekend but too far away to get pictures. Will work on that also.

Really looking forward to this fall!!! :woot:

I'll be whitetail hunting here in Ontario around camp, back home in WI on the family's 460 acres, Illinois with Justin and Duke, in Alberta I'll have both a whitetail and mulie tag. Its possible that I may be heading back to Saskatchewan as well, but won't know for a bit.

Tim, I'm really hoping we can make something happen, I would love to hunt with you guys. You gotta get your butts up here for a shed hunt too, we'll have a blast. Sorry I didn't call on my way back to camp yesterday......had a little too much fun at the wedding Saturday and am still recovering.

Next year, I'm hoping to get in one or two elk hunting trips as well.....I'm going to miss the mountains this year.

Casi and I will be headed up to Ontario to hunt with Dan. It'll be the 1st time for us to deer hunt out of state... or Country I should say! Can't wait. Sounds like many of you have some busy schedules this year.

I'll obviously be hunting Illinois again this year... probably will do that until I die.

I'm headed to Colorado in twenty some-odd days too.

You got that right Big T!! Good luck Troy in your hunts everywhere!

As for myself I might make a trip to ND and possibly to Wisconsin also. Both are still up in the air yet.

This year an out of state trip just isn't in the budget. i'll do a bunch of traveling here in the lone star state and one of those trips is a 12 hour drive! Alas, it will be spring turkey season before I get out of state.

In 23 days I leave for CO (driving). In 46 days I leave for Montana (flying). Both of those trips will be for elk and mule deer and possibly whitetail in Montana with my father. Then it will be Ohio and Indiana for deer.

I'll be hitting NJ again as usual, plus I'm adding MD, and ME this year. OH was going to be on the list, but there are only so many vacation days. It should be a lot of fun.

I have 6 deer tags for NC.

    I received my IL non-resident tags. :d

And I still have to buy my PA license and send in for several doe management areas.

SD antelope in two weeks....the rest will be instate deer hunts.
Then the HNI KY hunt in september more than likely.

Next spring will hopefully bring AL, TN, KY, and SD or NE for turks. Then next fall GA for gator if I practically hit the lotto on the drawing odds, and who knows maybe a MN bear hunt could happen.
