Any advice on a hunting mapping software, I was going to ask for the Buckspy software but was told they are no longer in bussiness.

Looking for something were I can enter sightings and plot things like srapes, rubs, stands, and camera locations by GPS coordinates on a aerial map.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks

I've been using Mytopo.com for the last few years. It's a website, not software and you pay a subscription. You can add markers to your maps with the Java plug-in. What sold me on it was that you can create an aerial/topo hybrid. This is more valuable than anything to me as I always struggled going back and forth between aerials and topos trying to find specific points.

Why not buy an actual GPS, and then use their mapping software to look at the big picture on your computer? I bought a Garmin Rino 535 hcx before the 2009 season, and it's one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. When used with their Mapsource software, I can look at all my way points and truly see the big picture.
