Dream small, dream big. For many years I couldn't even envision myself buying anything, so I really just stopped thinking about it. But the dreams are back. Researching things has opened my eyes to stuff that I believe would make me more effective and possibly save some energy on my treks in and out. Post pics if you can!

Foldable kayak that can tolerate up to 300 lbs and only weighs 17lbs. Awesome.

Some kind of E-bike..could be cheap I don't care. Take off a couple miles of walking day after day in some of my spots. Bike in an inflatable or foldable kayak as well.

Yeah I know I'm dreaming but what the heck.

the only thing I want is a new bow .. Bowtech or Elite... 'prolly not this season though as I'm putting some $$ into the new (to me) Tacoma ... Tinting, Tires, Lift/Level .. I'll see what bows come out for '26, until then, the Ritual and main bow the SR 350 will do just fine .. I'm clothing'd out right now, other than wool socks and some new First Lite 250 wool long johns for mid season to enhance what I have now. Camo I'm fine on, got 'plenty' for heat and cold, just got new 800 gr Irish Setter neoprenes this spring to go with the 3 other pairs of neos I have and my 1200gr pac boots ..

This is what I just bought. I figured it will get me to my stand quicker and won't leave as much scent as walking in and out. I'm gonna use it to take stands and cameras in and out as well. It has a 1000w motor and 100Nm of torque, so I'm hoping it will be stout enough to pull a loaded deer cart, if I can figure out how to attach the cart to the bike. 20250513_180935.jpg

I finally feel like im setup good on my equipment.

1 thing that I might splurge on is a good pair of real rubber boots. I just like hunting out of rubber boots.

That is fantastic. And with that license plate I bet people slow down when you get behind them.

A faster way to get to western states...I picked a random spot roughly near where we intend to hunt in WY...29hr drive.

Unlimited supply of certain ammos, sorry I'm not exclusively a bow hunter and may also (hopefully) be in grizzly country this fall...

    Time.

Youth...(Less aches and pains, more resilience, more stamina and more strength).

Oh, and more fuel for my thermacell.

    I love this list. Ha.

Bill, also, if you ever wanted to ship your hunting gear here I can always store it. You fly in and get a rental to drive from Stl to WY. Would cut down on your journey. Open offer.

Rubber boots in most of my spots are a must. I need comfortable ones and will look into the Arxus. Walking miles on end with uncomfortable boots sucks.

I’ll take a flagship bow at an entry-level bow price. Time and money to cash in on the WY elk points I have been building.

Sincere thanks for the offer. My hunting partner is up in Quincy and has picked me up in the past at either KC (MCI) or Denver (DIA)...in either case there is a different logistical issue, if you're successful...~300# coolers are not appreciated by airlines and a 1 way rental east is a separate PITA...

The new ride will get a workout to at least Quincy, as my buddy has a 4wd. Or I may head out a week before him for some locating ground and pound time...in either case it's nice that the new truck is averaging 40mpg.

I might convert to cell cams this year. I hunt 140 miles from my house so instantaneous access to trail cam photos would be nice.

^^^ yea, that is one item I have not purchased yet, all my cams are regular black flash SD card types, mostly Brownings/older Moultries ... there is a Browning Cell cam I want, maybe .... it would save a 80 mile round trip just to check cards, there is one place I'd like to put a cell cam as the walk is a ways back in.. ..

Same here. Not sure why Im "against" their usage. A couple of them would really help me out. I have one new spot im gonna hopefully check out this weekend that is such a pain to get into and small enough that one trail cam check may be too much pressure before a hunt, that a cell cam just makes sense. Debating.

You guys ever get cell cams and you'll never go back. They are such a time saver. You don't have to drive anywhere to check cards. You don't have sit and go through the cards once you retrieve them. And you're avoiding leaving scent going in and out. Just do it!
