Hunting in the rain......

    Well oklahoma hunting season opened on thursday.......and its rained everyday except saturday and is suppose to rain all week....like ive said before im new to this sport.....someone give me some hope and please give me some tips or anything that could possibly make me more succesful while hunting during the rain........:mad:

    Deer live in the rain. They don't stay indoors so you need to be in a stand when they are there. :D

    BUT......rain can make tracking a nightmare. Be sure only to take high % shots.

    Its been raining quite a bit up here in WI also, but I don't mind as long as I can get out I'm there. Besides I just shot a nice 10 in the rain last night. So get out whenever you can. It's always worth it, even if all you get is soaked.

    It has been raining here in LA all day long and it is suppose to rain all day tomorrow. I will get to see what it is like tomorrow hunting in the rain tomorrow and I cant wait!:D

    I just came in from hunting in the rain...started out as a regular sit witha sprinkle. By the end of the hunt it was coming down pretty good and my range had dwindled from 40 yards to about 15 yards. I would not even think of touching the trigger unless it was as close to a guranteee as there is.
