Any thoughts would be appreciated: The area I hunt is thick timber, mix of pines and hardwoods, with steep hills. Most of my stand locations are travel corridors. The photo is of a natural clearing, with a cluster of white oaks to the west of the cleared area (very few clearings in the general area). Below the clearing near the logging trail are a few rubs. And I often find rubs along the trail, which is now only used by hikers and ATV's. My initial plan is to hunt that edge once acorns drop, unless I find fresh sign leading me to a different spot around there. Thoughts?
