Danggggggg. My buddy Mike told me yesterday that his wife is suffering from a seriously low heartrate. They went to the doctor and she went through a battery of tests over the past month. After all was said and done, they said the low heartrate was a complication from lime's disease. DANG. She is in surgery today to have a pacemaker placed on her heart. They just had their third child two months ago. I feel terrible. Think some good thought for my friend's wife.

This is my buddy Mike after he hunted hard and arrowed/killed a nice buck for our parts this year. He is the one who introduced me to the public military base we hunt. If not for him I would have not found a good place to hunt.

Thanks Mike, he is a highschool science teacher and his wife is a nurse. They are the salt of the earth type people. I just feel sick about this and I know Mike and his kids are really worried about their mommy.

Lyme Disease is a nasty illness. My dad struggled with a rare form of it for 17 years before it was properly diagnosed. His joints began to fail him, he lost feeling in his feet, zapped all the energy from him, and from a lack of exercise he gained a lot of weight, which then led to his stroke last spring.

Hope all turns out good with your friend and his wife. Prayers out to her VS.

Thanks guys. I was actually running around playing outside with my wife and kids this afternoon and this just hit me even harder. I feel terrible for Mike's wife and family. I really hope this is a condition that will improve as she recovers. I am still waiting on his phone call after she comes home tonight.

Wow that's terrible. I got it last spring, and it's no joke. Luckily I caught it quickly. Prayers sent for her and the family.

    Hate to hear it.

My now 12 y/o sis battled it the year before last (if I recall right). She was practicing gymnastics when she had stiffness, and soreness in her knee. After a few weeks, w/o any improvement the docs ran blood tests and discovered it. It's no joke, for sure.

Best of luck to Mike's wife, Mike, and their family.

Same here. Took a while to figure out as I didn't have a bite sight. Had the worst headaches ever and irregular heartbeats. Completely fine now. Hope she comes out well.
