I won't go in the woods this time of year without my ROCKY 16 inch snake boots. The diamond backs are bad this year. been hit twice (thank god for my boots)

    What do you consider CHEAP?

I think $150.00 is CHEAP for a good pair of boots. My friend thinks $60.00 is CHEAP.

Tell us what your willing to spend and maybe some of us can help you better

I went through 3 pairs of these in just over a year. The tongue on every pair wripped open after just a few months. They were good at replacing them the first two times for me but gave me a ton of problems the third time. I still have the third pair but refuse to wear them. I will never wear Rocky boots again. At the time I got them I loved them. They were so comfortable and seemed well made but I learned differentely.

If you are not buying quality rubber boots (muck woody max) make sure they are gortex. I did tons of research and everything that does not have gortex leaks. I have a 20 year old pair of timberlands that are goretex and they do not leak.
