    Good article.
    Fit is a big issue. I tried on 2 dozen different brands and styles of boot before I found a pair that fit properly. I use orthotics which made the search that much more difficult. I figured if I had to spend more than $200 I may as well have a pair of custom boots made. No you can't get customs for $200, thats just where I set the break point.
    Cold, wet, sore feet become harder to deal with as you age.
    I ruined my feet by walking on concrete floors in cheap shoes for years, now I'm payin for it.
