So, my cheep camo leather hunting belt pretty much fell apart this last fall. With my up coming Colorado trip, I decided to make my own survival belt. I found some for sale online for $170+, and decided test my craftiness instead. Spent $34 on 1000' of paracord. I'm going to make a bunch of my own bow hoist ropes with it as well. I'm Pretty happy with how it turned out. This style of webbing pulls out in one quick strand if needed
Looks good. How difficult was it to make? If i could make some stuff my own i would. Or i could just pay you lol
I basically did this over our visit with my wife's grandparents. Lots of time to kill while watching CNN & sports. All in all, probably about 3.5 hrs. Had to give my hands a break every once in awhile though. Oly, it's pretty easy to do. Becomes a mindless activity after a few rows.

Haven't thought about multiple colors, mainly because of the weave. The Slatts is nice because if you ever needed it, you don't need to spend hours undoing it. Adding colors adds complications. I did see some sweet looking ones that were more complex, like the cobra weave.
