I know the PA guys aren't out right now, but for those of you that haven't tagged out, are you hunting as hard now as say you were two or three weeks ago?

I got my buck on Nov. 5th so I'm on the shelf until Monday when I can take my 9 year old out on her first PA mentor hunt. Good luck to those of you still at it.

I don't slow down much until the start of December.

I ussually see more nice bucks the second half of November than the first.

I had a 100 inch 2.5 yr old in bow range this morning...he looked like he was on a mission to find doe's.

I will be back out tomorrow morning.

My mature buck sightings are just the opposite every year. I actually really don't care for hunting now although I still go out there and try and get on a good mature buck, I think I've saw one mature buck or possibly 2 In 24 years of hunting after the gun seasons are over. Maybe that will change this year. :D

    Best of luck Cooter!!

Some PA guys (me) are still hunting the special regs doe season.
And no I am not going at it very hard at all. This weekend I might step it up and climb a tree instead of tucking in somewhere on the ground. I've been practicing up with my longbow, hopefully I can get a shot.

I'm not sure why Schultzy....but I have had rotten luck on mature buck sightings during the first week of Nov the past few years? And that is when I ussually take a week off work to hunt.... I may have to re-think some of my set ups during that time although I believe bad weather and a lot of standing corn have also contributed to low success.

Any mature buck sightings during past four seasons have been after the rifle season (Nov 14-25th)

Maybe my hunting area isn't as pressured by rifle hunters quite as much as yours?

As soon as the season comes back in, I will be back out at it just as hard.

I would like to be but I am paying "dues" around the house right now. Once I get paid up I am back at it.

My vacation ended on the 15th but I am still going out every chance I get, but I don't usually do all day sits this time of year.
