Well found a good deal on some FMJ's tonight so now I'm flinging 460's , hopefully they'll be tested tomorrow night.

This season I am using Black eagle deep impact 350 with AeroOutsert 6.15mm, Aerovane II, Firenock 0 style hunting circuit, at 445 grain out of a Strother SR71 at 68lb at 29.3/4" draw only got 307fps; not blazing fast like my older step up with Victory HV-V1 at 347grian, miss those arrow at 348fps. But I believe I gain quite a bit of KE as this season I am deep in the wood and distance is not an issue. Adding close to 100 grain to my set up is a lot...

Haha! I'm about to get hammered but, my set up is dropping deer this season.

373 grains shooting a Rage Chisel 2 blade. 3 deer so far and the longest they went was 60yd.

To make some of you sleep easier ill be changing to a 400gr arrow next season.

440 grain Black Eagle Rampages, NAP Killzones for now, blazers, plus however much a Nockturnal adds over the factory nock on a BEA

387 finished. I want to get around 400-450 so I may switch arrows next season.

Easton Bloodline 400 - 4" Onestringer Wraps, Blazer vanes, Nockturnal nocks, 100grn QAD Exodus heads.

I am right at 490 grain total.

    30" 300 Beman ICS 10.5 GPI
    Quickfletch, QuikSpins 33 G
    Inserts and nock 15 G +- ?
    Muzzy 125
    Hoyt Protec @70 lb

I would love to add another 150 Grains total but these shoot really nice and I don't want to mess anything up. I would love to find a good used Hoyt/Reflex Caribou with standard cams so I can shoot fingers again with extra heavy arrows. I seldom shoot past 20-25 yards at game.

442gr I`d go lighter, but my state won`t allow it.

Out of my 50lb bow(my close quarters bow) I shoot just over 500gr. With my 60lb bow(which I use when I hunt stands where I can take longer shots) I shoot about 375gr. No penetration issues with either.
