I have some guys telling me I am wasting my time hunting after post rut as most deer push into deeper cover, Post rut usually ends around dec 15 or so in my area, what say you? Couldn't find much info online about hunting after post rut.

You have to go to where the deer are. If they push into heavy cover then so do you. Switch back to similar tactics from early season. Try to find bedding areas and feed and set up on the travel route in between. Late in the season, deer won't want to travel near as far so the closer together the two are the better your chances.
