Im sure someone is doing this but I hunt public land and to help keep people from walking in on me I decided to make a couple of Power Point Slides with general stand locations. Here is an example.... Hunt Area1.jpg

I put it in my truck window in the parking lot. So hopefully if someone comes out to hunt also they can get a general area of where I am and hope they don't walk in on me.

No favors here. I am not leaving anything in the area. I am poor as it is and don't trust anyone to leave my stuff out.

Oh that's good. Do you hunt on the ground or from a climber?

Looks like that could be a good idea for someone hunting alone in a remote area. Never know when an accident can occur

I had some ****** come on on me this weekend. I whisltled and waved, he looked right at me and proceeded to climb up a tree 30 yds away. I had a compund, he had a xbow, do the math on yardage there. It turned out alright though, saw a ton of deer and even grunted and scared a fork away from him!

that is actually a pretty smart idea. I hunt in Jersey and am generally distrustful of all of the thieves out here anyway so I won't leave anything behind, but instead of catching a bullet or something, this idea is probably worth its weight in gold.

I like this idea as well as long as you don't leave your stuff in the timber. Also, make sure you don't leave anything in your vehicle in plain sight, if they know you're out in the timber, they will break into your vehicle.
