Got my son up this morning and he went on in painstaking detail how while at my parents cabin he saw this HUGE buck so he shot it but it wont die. The look on his face was funny but he was clearly devastated. Ive been there buddy, thats a bad dream and one you really dont want playing out in real life
That's hunting & not killing. Tough lesson that we all eventually learn. Better to learn that one early on.
