The 1st couple years I think I paid $20 to donate it. The last time it went down to $10 or $15. I don't have any issues with it. If i get enough deer ina season that I can donate one, I am a happy hunter.
The butcher shop I take it to tossed everyone's name who donated in a jar to win a free moun Thought that was nice.

This is the information I am going off of...this is from the HFTH website:

Option one: Donate an entire deer- HFTH pays the processing fee

So who pays the processor? The charity? Where do they get the money? From the $20 you pay to donate?

Perhaps the website has not been updated. If you call they can let you know the current state of affairs and, if they do pay the processing fee, maybe you can help them with a processor that may not be on the up and up.

True Bruce. I am eating a backstrap from the doe right now. Maybe it was good I kept her.
