Thoughts on what? One of their stands? Details would be helpful...

Actually now that I've looked more at the product - in my opinion the whole idea is just pointless.

From a security standpoint, the people that are out to steal your stand will just bring their own ladder and take it down so saying "taking the ladder with me keeps my stand safe" is wrong. And by "people that are out to steal your stand" I mean people that plan to come back in the woods with a ladder - not another hunter who happens to wander by your spot.

From a convenience standpoint, its not convenient to haul a 26lb ladder in and out of the woods every time you hunt. My muddy set weighs 21 lbs and I can probably put it where ever I want in one trip and take it with me when I leave. With this thing you have to haul stand and ladder at least twice (once in and once out) and then haul the ladder every time you hunt.

From a price standpoint its insane. $400 for a 12' ladder is just stupid. $300 for small hang-on is just stupid as well. And if there's a slight chance someone would steal your stuff why would you leave something so expensive in the woods??

You're much better off by hanging a bunch of cheap stands from d icks or Amazon ahead of time and packing in a nice set of light climbing sticks.

Alright I watch the video http://vimeo.com/18705561 and ...

Let see, how can we make a ladder stand more difficult??? I know lets add more individual parts and pieces. Then we can charge 3 times as much. Brilliant!

I set ladder stands by myself, and there is a good reason why in the video they only set the stand 8 feet off the ground.
