Any of you guy or gals ever teach hunters ed/safety??

I have been going to my son's classes the past few weeks and were having a great time! I'm really enjoying attending the classes, so much so that today I signed up for the instructors class and hopefully be an instructor helping teach the classes very soon, I'm looking forward to it!

Years ago I was certified to do It. Not sure If I'm still certified or not. Go for It Joe, I really enjoyed teaching It and helping others out back years ago when I was doing It.

Thats what got me thinking about it a few weeks back, helping out and giving back. There's a lot of totally new hunters in Dom's class that have no idea about hunting in general and its kinda cool to help them out, they're very honest in their questions and very appreciative! I was also surprised at how many adults are in the class that are just starting out!

My dad did it for 20+ years. He ran the HTE program as an elective class at the middle school he taught at (yep, I went through the course as well there). He did an EXCELLENT job, and he really enjoyed it. I would say you will, too. Good luck!

I use to help teach the class about four years back. I was guiding at a kids camp that aught them to hunt and then we would take them hunting, ect. Anyway, I wasn't certified to do it, but the main instructor was. I taught the bow hunting lessons
