I took mine in the 7th grade. I was 13 and I'm 35 now. I went to Texas to go on a deer hunt with my father-in-law and in order to get my tags I needed my HE card. Heck, I hadn't had it in years. So, I ended up going to take a 1 day course on the weekend, so I wouldn't make us late for the hunt. It was a good refresher anyway. The class was all kids about 12 to 14 at the oldest. I heard one kid say to his buddy on one of the break (and talkin' about me) say "That dude's old". LOL. I got the card now. LOL.
