What are some things you will have on the wish list for the holiday season? The old ball and chain is asking me for ideas, and I honestly can't think of anything I absolutely need (other than a vacuum sealer, and I hate anybody spending money on me so I never have any ideas).

    **Anybody have vacuum sealer recommendations?

Both great points, would rather go with quality the first time, and you're right, hard to give anyone Christmas ideas for me personally because I buy anything I need on my own when I need it.

Is 100 acres next to wherever Richie is hunting in IL this year too much to ask? :nana: Don't think I've been on Santa's good side long enough for that.

    New bow.

Some better quieter stands. The cheapies get noisy after the first year.

Clothes. Last time I bought fleece clothing. The stick tites are real annoying to sit and pick out all the time. Have a couple of bald places showing up.

Roof rack for my car. To carry extra stands/sticks/game cart.

nothing beats a super quality knife, but they aren't cheap....

I love my vacuum sealer, I have a foodsaver 2 in 1 something or other that has treated me well, also a meat grinder is a good tool to have if you process your own meat. I have a cheap meat grinder and if you take your time they'll do the job.

Last year I didn't have time to process my deer quickly so I skin and boned it, put about 12-15 pounds of meat in vacuum bags sealed them up then thawed them out and ground them as I had time.

Those are the 3 things I'd saw all hunters should have, really good knife or knives, a vacuum sealer and a meat grinder.

I'd love to have some first lite base layers but I know she has already bought me a Milwaukee heated coat. So I hate to ask for anything else.

Scent away bags, ozone purge, some new broadhead, arrows, new Tahoe, and underwear (the Duluth Bucknaked stuff is nice).

A good pair of binos would be real nice. I'm tired of the cheap ones I've had for a long time.

I've seen several here talking about vortex. Are they worth the money? Comparable to higher end models?
