Ok, so I all most always make a list and check it twice before venturing off on any sort of hunt for the first time. The first hunt is always a critical one and I seem to forget things to put on the list every time. So I’ve decided to start this list to print off and highlight the items I either have or will get. Then on that magical morning I’ll go through and check off what I have highlighted. So I’ll get this started and everyone read through it and add on as you feel fit. Just copy and paste the list before you.

No need to name drop I.e. tinks, dead down wind, I can’t believe it’s not butter. You get the drift.

So, beer/liquor makes the list of things you need to go hunting and a safety harness does not.

    Brilliant.

Thats a huge list of stuff. How much of that stuff do you guys drag up into the stand with you? Ive hunted deer for years and havnt used half of that stuff. A gps really.... Does the stand magically move from tree to tree while your sleeping in it.

Don't always take it but just depends on where I am hunting because I only hunt public I have had times that I go in and because of the terrain or running into others(hikers, hunters) I end up moving way off course from where I originally intended and trying to get out of the woods when you don't know where you are at in the dark is sometimes tough.

This list isn't necessarily meant for stuff to bring into the stand. I.e beer/liquor, zip lock bags,. Some items you leave in the truck until you need them.

Tags, knife and phone are always on me 365 days a year....so theres no need to add them.

I cant imagine anyone needing to put there stand or bow on a check list, lol!!!

The only thing's I need to make sure I have when I walk out the door are flashlight and release...maybe a bottle of water.

Pull rope has never been forgotten because it's part of my stand.
