Now you see all of these high prices but you should understand what you are dealing with; you are getting a camera that will outlast any Canon XL1 or XL2, GL2, Sony PD 150 or 170 in the cold or low light, this thing is a beast and is as mentioned "Professional Studio Quality" and you will get more than what you pay for I also do not see a need for HD for quite a while.
