I've been using one for a couple years and LOVE it. It not only keeps my hands from getting cold (yes, I'm a sissy) but also holds stuff like my can call, deer lure, phone, release, etc in the pockets. Once things start getting cold in November I literally don't hunt without mine.

    The inventory issue is fixed so you should be able to order now.

    As for Thinsulate rating I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I've been using mine for 2-3 years now and my hands have yet to get cold. Having warm hands is nice but I almost enjoy the pockets/pack aspect of it more than anything.

    Those aren't the same ones. The ones on the HSS site are direct order only and can't be purchased anywhere else. They improved the material, zippers and waist strap on the new ones. I believe the ones on Amazon are old stock that they're closing out.
