Hunter resentment... Why?

    I agree with you and I don't get it. My buddies tend to share whatever we take down, normally because we help pack the elk out which is NOT the fun part of the hunt. I get pretty excited no matter who gets one down, but I'm lieing if I said I wouldnt rather it be me.

    I didnt read most of the replies, but, i see the same thing Scott is talking about with the people i know too.

    I have some good friends that we share hunting spots, share trail cam pictures, and try to put each other in the best spots for success. It is fun to hunt with people who share the same excitement for hunting and are ethical hunters. We are all excited for the other when they are successful. I also have some friends that will shoot anything that walks by and brag about how many deer they kill each year. I don’t invite or share any information with these friends. I am not excited for them when they have already killed 4 or 5 bucks several does and then send me a picture of the spike they just killed. They still don’t understand why they don’t get an invite or I don’t like to go hunting with them.

    Sadly it's a part of every aspect of life.
