Have a ground blind set up very near the corner of a fence row. Lot of trees and under brush going both directions. Have a large dead tree stump about 8' high at the back of the blind, fence and brush in front. Camera is set up in the fence row angled towards the blind to keep the sun off the front. Been set up for about 2 weeks. Pulled the card this morning and seeing lot of deer including a couple nice 8's. BUT - I also had one shot of two does bedded down in the grass under a dead fall not 8' from the front of the blind. Photo taken shortly after 5 AM. Only one photo of them but several other dear passing through earlier and later, usually in the mornings. I see no way of getting into this ground blind without spooking any deer in the area. Do I chance it and go in early, or leave it and hunt 2 of my tree stands?

I would hunt it a couple times to see what would happen. Try to get in there early enough before they start moving throu there.

Legal shooting was at 6:32 this morning. Was in the blind at 6:00. Chilly dense fog but didn't use a light walking in from the house. Around 6:20 saw a shadow of something on my back side walking slowly. Adult but could not see it good enough to tell if it was a doe or buck. It turned and walked away. Nothing till about 7:00 when a 6 point came from the same direction as the other deer but further away. It was out about 50 yds, walking up the tree line to my right. Stopped and looked right at me. Had the bow up and ready but just didn't feel comfortable taking that long a shot. Would have probably been OK but - - - . No other activity. Planing to try a tree stand this afternoon and catch them moving from their bedding area to feed/water.
