Have a few spots set up that i can sneak into early saturday morning but cant make up my mind as to what to do.

One spot is right at a very very large bedding area and has a few bucks that i would be more than happy to just see, let alone have the chance of a shot. Since mid summer we had a camera pick up a group of bucks regularly and had bucks on camera until we took down the camera in September. There was one monster we got on camera twice in a week (biggest i have ever seen and he wasnt done growing), a big 8, a smaller 8, and then a few spikes and what not. I saw one of the spikes opening day but didnt shoot. In all the months of the camera being up we NEVER once had a doe on camera. Close to wear the stand is i saw a few scrapes that looked fresh the last time i was there a couple weeks ago.

The other couple spots are not near any large known bedding areas. we had camera set up at both areas had does consistently goign through, small groups of 2's and 3's. Each spot has seemed to be pretty consistent up with the same few does coming through and the occasional small buck, spikes and small 4 pts.

Granted i havent been in the areas with does since taking the cameras down, but i have no reason to believe they have left. The wind should be right for the area with the bucks and one of the doe areas. I can get in quick and quietly at both, but i cant make my mind up.

I am also going to put down a mock scrape or two. I have never messed with scrapes before other than hutning nearby. Should i put one down this weekend at each spot or one spot or ??

I just cant make my mind up as to where i want to go in the morning. I am going to hunt as long as i can sit and then if i move on, i place ill climb in the afternoon.

yeah that is what my mind is telling me, but just hard not to target the bucks i know are in the other area becuase we havent seen much buck activity anywhere else.

I live in Chesapeake and hunt in Surry and South Hampton. Are you these parts of VA?
