There is nothing wrong with that deer, he is just saving up until November. By december he should be all dry
One more question, let's just say I get lucky and get him this season and find out that it is a tumor. Is there any concern I should have about bringing home the meat to eat?
I wouldn't eat it, however some states will give you a replacement tag if you shoot a deer that they have deemed unfit for consumtion. Check your local laws but I know here in PA you can do that.
